Our Ethos
BEHIND FACE MATTERS
Our Ethos and Charity Partners
Face Matters Skincare harnesses the power of Mother Nature’s most beautiful ingredients to deliver effective, gentle and nourishing skincare.
Our mission at Face Matters Skincare is to help you to look and feel your best.
All natural skincare is our love language and as such you won’t find any artificial substances in our products. We also take care of Mother Earth by using sustainable practices, and support our charity partners with every purchase.
Our team is small and mighty, our products are hand-made and we package every single order with love.
Below you’ll find our core values—what’s truly important to us

Purity
The integrity of our formulations is of paramount importance to us.
We use only the most pure ingredients in our facial care, free from artificial additives and Soil Association Approved.
The purity of our natural, organic, plant-based ingredients ensures the efficacy of our products, and a sustainable life cycle.

Sustainability
Our products are made from natural and certified organic plant extracts, many of which are Fairtrade and sourced from small farms and producers.
Each ingredient is assessed annually by the Soil Association, who audit the ingredient trail; from the farm to the finished product.
Sourcing premium quality ingredients ensures that our skincare products are of the finest quality and will benefit your skin as well as the environment.
Take aloe vera for example, we use aloe vera in our Face Off Cleanser in place of skin drying glycols—a widely used ingredient in many synthetic washes. Our plant-based ingredients are naturally biodegradable and do not cause harm to the waterways or subsequent aquatic life.

Artisan Quality
We work with an artisan manufacturer. This means that our products are made by hand, rather than by machines.
By manufacturing in this way, our product quality is constantly monitored. This meticulous attention to detail is, in part, why our products have won awards, accolades and a loyal following.
Working with an artisan team also allows us to support the livelihoods of our talented manufacturers, something we’re proud to be able to do.
